Helmuth von Pannwitz (14 October 1898 - 16 January 1947) was a German general who was a cavalry officer during the First and the Second World Wars. Later he became a Lieutenant General of the Wehrmacht, a SS-Obergruppenführer of the Waffen-SS, and Feldataman of the XV SS Cossack Cavalry Corps.
